Which shop should I use - the US shop or the EU shop?

We're using two fulfillment centers to pick and pack your orders. One is in the EU and one is in the US. If you are from any EU state it's best to shop from the EU store since the goods have already been imported into the EU Community and the shipping costs are low. If you are from the US, please use the US store. If you are ordering from any other country, order from EU shop - ie. if you're from South America, Canada or any other country, you will be automatically redirected to the EU shop.

I automatically get redirected to the EU / US Talking Friends Shop. How do I choose the shop I want to make the purchase in?

You can manually choose the regional setting in the top right corner of the page (click Regional Settings and then Switch to EU shop or Switch to US shop). Please note that every purchase from the USA must be made on the US Talking Friends Shop website. For all other countries please use the EU Talking Friends Shop website.

Can I buy the Talking Friends products in a department store as well?

You can buy some of our products in department stores as well. However, some products, such as the Talking Friends Superstars, are only available online.

How can I pay?

We accept major credit cards and Paypal payments. In both cases, the payment provider is Paypal. In the checkout process select Paypal as the payment method. You will be taken to the Paypal payment site where you can choose to pay using your Paypal account or enter your credit card details.

Can I change my order?

You can’t change your order once it’s been placed. If you want to order a different item, you can cancel the first order and order a different item. If you want an additional item, you must order it separately.

Where does TalkingFriends.com ship?

We ship worldwide and cover most countries. During the checkout process enter your shipping address (or have it imported from your PayPal account).

How long does it take to get the purchased items delivered?

The shipping takes a few days and up to 3 weeks, depending on the products you ordered and your location.

I can’t find my country in the list of countries for shipment. How can I select my country?

If you can’t find your country, you most probably have to visit the other Talking Friends Shop. There are two shops, the US and the EU Talking Friends Shop. Every purchase from the USA must be made on the US Talking Friends Shop website. For all other countries please use the EU Talking Friends Shop website. If you automatically get redirected to the wrong website you can manually choose the regional setting in the top right corner of the page (click Regional Settings and then Switch to EU shop or Switch to US shop). This way you should be able to find your country in the list of countries.

How much will I pay for shipping?

The shipping costs depend on the weight of the items you order, your location and the shipping method you choose in your order. Shipping starts at 6 $ for US orders and 6 € for orders from other countries. Shipping is free of charge for purchases of at least 2 items made in the EU store that are shipped to an EU country, or for purchases of at least 2 items made in the US store that are shipped to a US state.

Can I track my order online? How can I track my order?

As far as the shipping service you chose in your order provides tracking, you can track your order online with the tracking number you receive as soon as your order is shipped from the warehouse.

When will I receive a tracking number?

As soon as your order is shipped from the warehouse you will be informed and will receive a tracking number as far as the shipping service you chose in your order provides one.

Can I change my shipping address?

If you want to change your shipping address, you can contact us and we will ship your items to the new address, as long as they haven’t been shipped already. After the items are shipped from the warehouse, we can no longer make any changes.

How do I know my order has been shipped out?

As soon as your order is shipped from the warehouse you will get a confirmation e-mail and will receive a tracking number as far as the shipping service you chose in your order provides one.

What if I still don’t have my order after the estimated delivery date has passed?

The estimated delivery date is only an estimate, so we can’t guarantee that your order will be delivered before the estimated date has passed. This depends on the shipping method you chose and the shipping service delivering your order. If the shipping service of your order provides tracking you can track the location of your order with the tracking number you received in the shipping confirmation e-mail. After one month has passed from the estimated delivery date, please contact us so we can check what happened.
If the tracking information indicates that the package has already been delivered, please check with your neighbors and family members, as it sometimes happens that packages are left with neighbors or building managers.

Can I return the items I bought?

For a period of 15 days from the date the package was delivered, you can return the products, as long as they are not damaged, and you receive a full refund. Shipping charges may apply in some cases. Before returning the products, please contact us and you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to return the product. If you do not receive the e-mail, please check your spam folder and then contact us again.
If you received a broken item, let us know within 2 months after the package was delivered, and we will send you instructions on how to return your product. You will then receive a new item or get a refund.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order. However, if the items you ordered have already been shipped, you will have to return them in the period of 15 days after you received the package in order to receive a full refund.

Can I change my order?

You can’t change your order, once it has been placed. You can cancel the order and then order the products you want again.

Can I get the VAT refunded, if I order the product from outside the EU or the USA?

For all questions concerning tax matters please refer to your Tax Administration Office.

Do I need a smartphone, tablet or computer to use the Talking Friends toys?

You do not need any device in order to use the Talking Friends Toys. The toys work on their own. There is some additional functionality for the Talking Friends Superstars, if you have an Android or iOS device.

Do the Talking Friends only speak English or do they speak other languages as well?

At the moment the Talking Friends toys are only available in English. However, please know that not all sounds pose a language barrier to the non-English speakers, as most of them are purely sounds understood by all nationalities, such as laughter, meowing, and music.

Do you offer any discounts?

We occasionally offer promotional codes, which can be used to get a discount in our Talking Friends Shop. Some items are also reduced from time to time. We do not offer other types of discounts.
